We deliver Tuesday to Saturday, between 10am and 5pm, throughout Sudbury and the surrounding areas.

You can select your preferred future delivery date when placing your order online.

We may also be able to accommodate Sunday and Monday deliveries by arrangement, even though these dates may not be available to select through our online shop. This is subject to availability, so please contact us directly if you require a Sunday or Monday delivery and we’ll do our best to help.richtext

We require a minimum of 3 working days’ notice for all online catering orders.

Where possible, we recommend ordering further in advance, particularly for weekends, weddings, celebrations and larger events, as availability can fill quickly.

We recommend scheduling your delivery at least 1 to 2 hours before your guests arrive to allow plenty of time for setup and preparation.

Our standard online delivery times are 10am–5pm.

If you require delivery outside these times, please contact us directly before ordering. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability. 

Where do you deliver?

We deliver within a 15-mile driving radius of Sudbury.

• Free delivery within 5 miles of Sudbury on catering orders over £50
• Orders under £50 within 5 miles: £10 delivery charge
• Delivery charges for addresses between 5 and 15 miles will be calculated according to the delivery distance.

We offer two options:

Standard Boxed Delivery

Your catering will be carefully packed and delivered to your chosen venue, ready for you to unpack and arrange yourself.

Delivery & Full Setup — No Additional Charge

One of our Painters team will deliver your order to your chosen venue and take care of the presentation for you.

We’ll unpack your catering, arrange everything beautifully on food-safe disposable paper, style your platters and finish them with fresh fruit and edible flowers.

Once everything is looking perfect, we’ll carefully cover the food with cling film to keep it fresh and protected until you’re ready to serve.

Simply remove the covering and enjoy!

Yes. You can place an order online for collection from Painters Café:

Collection is available Tuesday to Saturday, between 10am and 2pm.

If you need to collect outside these hours, please leave a note when checking out and wait for confirmation from our team before assuming your requested collection time is available.

If you’re sending catering as a gift, it is the purchaser’s responsibility to make sure the recipient knows about the delivery and is available to accept the order.

Please remember that our catering contains perishable food, so it should not be left unattended for long periods.

You can also add a personalised message to your order and we’ll happily write it in a card for you.

Please remember to include the To and From details in your message.

We may be able to modify some of our catering to accommodate dietary requirements such as vegan, gluten-free or nut-free.

Please add your request to the order notes at checkout.

All dietary requests are subject to confirmation from our kitchen. We will contact you directly to confirm whether we are able to accommodate your requirements.

Please do not assume a dietary request has been accepted until you have received written confirmation from us.

Each item on our website will clearly state the allergens it contains. Please check these carefully before ordering.

For Delivery & Full Setup, where requested and agreed with our kitchen, dietary items such as “gluten-free sandwiches or vegan sausage rolls” can be kept separate and placed on a separate platter to help minimise the risk of cross-contamination.

Please be aware that all our food is prepared in a kitchen where all major allergens are handled.

Although we take care to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens.

For customers with severe or life-threatening food allergies, we recommend that you do not consume our products.

We understand that plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to help.

Our catering is booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we reach our maximum capacity for a particular date, we often have to turn away other orders. Because of this, cancellations and changes are subject to our discretion.

Where possible, please contact us at least 14 days before your delivery or collection date if you need to cancel or amend your order.

Cancellations or changes made within 7 days of delivery or collection are subject to our discretion, as ingredients may already have been purchased, preparation may have begun, and other orders may have been turned away.

If you need to cancel or amend your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll discuss your options with you.

Where appropriate, we may offer credit towards a future order with us.

Our catering is designed around recommended serving numbers, but appetites and events vary.

If you’re unsure how much food to order, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise you based on your number of guests, event type and timing.

We can also provide disposable palm leaf plates with wooden cutlery and napkins for your guests.

Each setting includes:

• 1 x palm leaf plate
• 1 x wooden fork
• 1 x wooden knife
• 1 x wooden spoon
• 1 x napkin

These are priced at £1.70 per setting.
